Jamie Kristjanson graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 1994. She grew up running her barrel horses and roping all summer long, while selling whitewater rafting pictures and cleaning up her father’s construction sites to pay her fees. In the winter she changed things according to the seasons and was seen skiing the town hill, Snow King after school and The Jackson Hole Resort aka “The Village” on the weekends. As all good things have a proverbial end, so too did the good ol days in Jackson when her parents decided to venture to Montana and buy a fly fishing ranch in Paradise Valley. The next 5 years Jamie split her time between, Jackson, Livingston and Wickenburg AZ. Soon Montana had its grip in her and she settled into school at Montana State University, spending her last year of eligibility on the MSU Rodeo Team in 1999-2000. Now 17 years later, she has raised her own barrel racing daughter whose dream is to follow in her footsteps at MSU in 2019!
Jamie started her insurance adventure working for a ground-breaking program within CBIZ Insurance, selling short term vacation rental insurance in downtown Bozeman. She was a lead agent and loved her time there. After a few years she set out to become an independent agent. After a year of searching and falling short of her target – she found Gallatin Insurance. It has been a perfect fit for her busy schedule with her daughter and the perfect spot to establish her roots in the rodeo world with launching her Equine Mortality and Farm/Ranch/Equine Specialty niche which she soon became the leading agent within the company in the USA. Jamie knows her way around Equine Risks because of her extensive background owning, training, selling and being in the horse industry for over 30 years. What she doesn’t know, she finds an answer for. Jamie is hands on, capable and compassionate person in this industry. She is here to listen to you and find you the answers you seek.
